He Believes In You

Psalms 8 (GWT) 1 O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name throughout the earth! Your glory is sung above the heavens. 2 From the mouths of little children and infants, you have built a fortress against your opponents to silence the enemy and the avenger. 3 When I look at your heavens, the creation of your fingers, the moon and the stars that you have set in place– 4 what is a mortal that you remember him or the Son of Man that you take care of him? 5 You have made him a little lower than yourself. You have crowned him with glory and honor. 6 You have made him rule what your hands created. You have put everything under his control: 7 all the sheep and cattle, the wild animals, 8 the birds, the fish, whatever swims in the currents of the seas. 9 O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name throughout the earth!

Discover How Much He believes in You

The psalmist David was convinced of God’s love. At no point was he confused in Psalm 8. David was a pretty open guy regarding his feelings and beliefs. History dictates he wrote this before he officially became the king. This passage gives insight into the relationship David had with God. A relationship bred out of the time they spent together. Although David wrote this about The Lord, he recognized how God had favored us – his creation.  He believes in Us. Here’s some more Word on it:

Jeremiah 29 GWT 11 I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord. They are plans for peace and not disaster, plans to give you a future filled with hope.

Psalm 139 KJV 14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Proverbs 18 KJV 16 A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.

Hold on…wait…did the Word just say, that my gift (talent) will make room for me? And bring me before kings (in today’s world this means: VIPs, AVPs, Presidents, Owner’s, etc…and also real Kings)? But what if I don’t know what my gifts or talents are? Gifts or talents are not purchased by you. These things just natural without formal training. Nothing is too small for this category.

In Genesis, Joseph had dreams and he understood them. Out of his excitement and understanding, he shared them with his family. Out of their jealously, they through him into a pit and sold him into slavery.

CHRISTians, thank God for the Holy Spirit..right now…because we can discern who’s around us and what they are capable of…even when they attempt in hiding their identity and intent.

But how many of you know when God has declared a thing a thing…it is so. Those dreams manifested for Joseph to help the very fools who were against him. He believed in Joseph and guess what, He also believed in Joseph’s family. Now that’s love.

Just reading about Joseph you’ll notice some very unusual stuff:

  • Though he was slave, he didn’t carry himself as a slave.  Potiphar made him ruler over his house due to the obvious God wisdom on Joseph’s life.
  • Though tempted with betraying Potiphar, he did not. The next dude would have got with ‘ole girl’ and kept it breezy until he was caught.
  • Though he was in prison, again, he didn’t carry himself as a prisoner. And again, was entrusted to lead while in prison.
  • His gift had advanced, before he dreamed and interpreted his own dreams and now he interpreted the dreams of others…ultimately led him to physical freedom.

His gift made room for him and brought him before a great man. Now, I imagine that Joseph was tired of enduring due to wicked people. I am sure it was times where he wanted to just die and get it over with. Based on his beginning, it is safe to say that he would have been the one to invent suicide.

Joseph kept encouraging himself and he was convinced of God’s love. All he had were those dreams, they kept him from throwing in the towel many days. Those dreams sustained his life. How many of us have dreams that are lifelines we so desperately need…no need to raise your hands at once…

Have you wondered, Lord, who am I that you would love me? After reading Psalm 8, there is no doubt that David understood His majesty. David was astounded by God’s appointment to man. We are made a little lower than God…although many translations say angels or heavenly beings…it is so amazing. Just focusing on that line alone by meditation brings forth His strength, dispels doubt as the mind is renewed and action directed at His calling follows.

Well shouldn’t it? Now direct your attention to His calling. We are all called to do something specific. Spending time with Him will uncover His plan for you. As children, God gives glimpses of what we’re equipped to do. Sometimes as we get older we put down activities we love because we misunderstand. There is a connection between how we spend our time and our well-being and prosperity as adults.

Getting with God, it will keep you fulfilled. He believes in us. We have to believe what He believes about us.

have a blessed one

So What You Understand!

Proverbs 3:5 (KJV)
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean to thine own understanding.

As individuals our understanding differ. As it is defined:
1. mental process of a person who comprehends; comprehension; personal interpretation.
2. intellectual faculties; intelligence; mind: a quick understanding.
3. superior power of discernment; enlightened intelligence.
4. knowledge of or familiarity with a particular thing; skill in dealing with or handling something.
5. a state of cooperative or mutually tolerant relations between people.

People rarely lead with the third option while obtaining information. Going for the personal interpretation of known familiar information, tends to formulate how and what we comprehend. This causes miscommunication on so many levels because again our perception differs based on experience…just more details. We can miss what God is bringing to the forefront.

God can help

God can help

If you can help it, the next time your faced with anything familiar, say to yourself: “So What I understand.”. “I am leaning on me just too much.” “God I need your grace and mercy in this situation (big or small).” “God, please help me solve this (or give me another idea about this).”
So then we trust Him and wait. Let’s work smarter not harder, ladies and gentlemen.

Have a blessed day
